The Saradiyal Mount Rock & Village - Named after a local hero in the 1800's, that was likened to a Sri Lankan version of Robin Hood who distributed stolen goods from the British. The Mount Rock served as a vantage point with a secret cave hideout

The ascent to the summit takes on average 30-45 minutes and offers a stunning 360 degree views of the Central Highlands, upon reaching its top most point.

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. This elephant reserve and national heritage site has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Visitors are encouraged to help feed, bathe and care for the elephants during their visit.
